POWERLESS?….BUT GOD

“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.
But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.“
(Romans 5:7)

Jesus Christ died for me. Powerless to do for myself what I could never do. I was powerless.
Jesus Christ died for my ungodliness, I was blind.
Jesus Christ dared to die for me.

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

BUT GOD…..

“David stayed in strongholds in the wilderness, and remained in the mountains in the Wilderness of Ziph. Saul sought him every day, but God did not deliver him into his hand.” (1 Samuel 23:14)

“And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
(2 Chronicles 20:15)

“But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave, For He shall receive me. Selah”
(Psalm 49:15)

“My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
(Psalm 73:14)

“But God raised Him from the dead.”
(Acts 13:30)

“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;”
(1 Corinthians 1:17)

“So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.”
(1 Corinthians 3:7)

“A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. “Give glory to God by telling the truth,” they said. “We know this man is a sinner.”
He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”
(John 9:24-25)

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for Me?”
(Jeremiah 32:27)
