“I will give to the Lord the thanks due to His righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High….
I will give thanks to You, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonderful deeds.”
(Psalms 7:17, 9:1)
I was reading this morning from the post of the wife of a Facebook friend who is in Hospice care as she encouraged others to strive to be in a perpetual state of praise in all our circumstances separating the dire for the hope, the deadness in our hearts to praise because in it all wherever God may have our path home to Him, “His mercies are new every day” whether in this life or the next: “He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it.”
Lord, teach me to offer You a heart of thanksgiving and praise in all my daily experiences in this life. Lord, teach me to be joyful always, to pray continually and to give thanks in all my circumstances.
And Lord by Your grace help me to accept whatever things You permit as Your will for my life.
All glory to Your Name
